Did you know that you can buy coffins at Costco?
Just a fun and weirdish fact.

Introducing Baby Hafe!!!
Now it has been quite a while since I have had time to post anything, I apologize to those of you who actually care enough about our relatively non-eventful life. Anywho, I have plenty that I would like to post, I just haven't made the time for it.
I got some good pictures from Jer's b-day like a month ago, but I have yet to post them...they are to come I promise.
Now to the subject of the post, don't get too excited...I am not pregnant. This is not a picture of an ultrasound.
So. I randomly came across a picture the other night. I got a cutesy little email from a friend and it had some pictures of babies with cute little sayings. So I was just casually reading through the email, not really remembering anything that I saw or read.....until....this little bugger came on the screen.

And my jaw dropped, the world started spinning, I forgot what year it was, and I started talking gibberish...No not really, but I was shocked. I could not believe what I was seeing. If you do not see what I am talking about....let me explain.
Look at the pictures below I will point out some features that tie back to this picture:

Lets start with top of the head and move down:

Lets start with top of the head and move down:
- Hair: Blonde and stick-em-up straight hair. Jer was a toe-head blonde as well, ummm, and his hair still sticks straight up, it takes a lot of product to tame that beast of a mop on his head.
- Hairline: The kid's got a big forehead, and thanks to my friend Shawna Rasmussen in the 6th grade who decided to bust out a ruler and measure my forehead, I found out that mine is like 3 and 1/2 inches, I think that classifies as a big forehead.
- Ears: Notice the angle of the ears (from Jer) and how big the ears are (those ginormous babies would come from my side of the family)
- Eyes: Beautiful blue, just like my hubbies
- Nose: Course it is just a baby nose, but that looks like it is going to be a button nose. Well, there isn't a point to be found on my nose. (and the nose on the kid is randomly tan and I have been known to get a little brown in the sun)
- Skin: Nice and pale, just like Jerame
- Face Shape: Nice and roundish, just like myself.

Saturday in the 'Burbs

So.....long story short, I hate my job. But luckily my old boss has offered me position at a company called Catalent, located in Somerset, NJ, in the suburbs of New Jersey.
I have not made the absolute decision to accept this offer because Somerset is about 40 minutes away from my home, whereas my current job is only 20 minutes. So yesterday, to ease my woes about the commute to this location, Jer and I decided to drive down to the location just to see what the communte would be like. And I am happy to report, that it was not too bad. Granted we did it during the middle of the day on a saturday so I don't really know how much traffic is involved with this.
Anyway, we of course brought the pooch with us (but left our spatula's and garden hoses at home). I figured we would be going to an area with more open space so we were bound to find somewhere to play freely with him without someone bugging us to put him on a leash or having to fight for space to play at the park.
Now I know that I promised not to just post pictures of my dog on this, but we did get some good actions shots that I would like to share. The Catalent building is in a big area with a bunch of corporate offices, and since this is suburbia NJ, these building have massive grounds with lots of grassy areas. So we drove around until we found a building that was for lease, so we wouldn't get in trouble for being on someone's private property. We found a building with a huge water run off reservoir that still had some water in it from the recent rain storms. It wasn't so deep that Ozzy had to swim, but he was able to jump and run through the water. He had a lot of fun. We had a lot of fun watching him. We did not see a single person. It was great.
Unfortunately we had to come back home to Urban NJ. It was sad, we had a good time being outside with nobody else. Oh how we wish we could move there now.

Guitar Hero Fun!!
So when I found out that Jer and I were getting Guitar Hero for christmas, I will admit I was a little upset. I thought that the last thing we needed was another video game that we don't play. Neither of us has the time to sit around and play video games, even though I was out of work and would have plenty of time on my hands, I knew that I would be going back to work eventually and would be pretty busy again.
Anywho, it has turned out to be quite a fun game to play when friends come over. It is a fun competition game. And it is pretty addicting too. It is like Lays potato chips, you can't play just one game. You inevitably end up playing a few.
Here are some pictures I took the other night when we had our friends Corey, Natalie, and Ryan over for dinner and Guitar Hero.
(If you look closely in one of the pictures you can see Jer sitting on the couch with a lamp shining on him...He was playing Dentist and doing some mild teeth cleanings. So if you are between your regular dental cleanings and have some plaque that is bothering you and you don't want to wait several months for your real cleaning...come see Jer, he can help you in a jiffy. Weird? Sure. But we're over it.)

Thank You Fox News for Making My Day!!!
The following story was on the Fox News website this morning. Hysterical!
'Creepy gnome' terrorises town
A TOWN in South America is living in fear after several sightings of a 'creepy gnome' that locals claim stalks the streets at night.
The midget - which wears a pointy hat and has a distinctive sideways walk - was caught on video last week by a terrified group of youngsters.
Teenager Jose Alvarez - who filmed the gnome - yesterday told national newspaper El Tribuno that they caught the creature while larking about in their hometown of General Guemes, in the province of Salta, Argentina.
He said: “We were chatting about our last fishing trip. It was one in the morning.
“I began to film a bit with my mobile phone while the others were chatting and joking.
"Suddenly we heard something - a weird noise as if someone was throwing stones.
"We looked to one side and saw that the grass was moving. To begin with we thought it was a dog but when we saw this gnome-like figure begin to emerge we were really afraid."
Jose added that other locals had come forward to say they had spotted the gnome.
He said: “This is no joke. We are still afraid to go out - just like everyone else in the neighbourhood now.
"One of my friends was so scared after seeing that thing that we had to take him to the hospital.”
