I'm sorry what growth hormone did you say you used on my vegetables...

*Warning, slightly inappropriate picture to follow*

So I know most of us have seen pictures of weird occurances in food such as: The Virgin Mary appearing on a grilled cheese sandwich. Or Mother Teresa appearing in a cinnamon roll (can you see it, pretty cool!)
And most of us have seen pictures of unnaturally large produce (whose growth was no doubt aided by some kind of growth hormone additive)

Well Jer and I discovered our own little food oddity at the grocery store one day. (Of course when we saw this, we had to buy it.)
"I'm sorry what growth hormone did you say you used on my vegetables, does it start with a "V" and end in "iagra". "

So everybody here is my advice....BUY ORGANIC!!

"Back to school, back to school, to prove to dad that I'm no fool" -Billy Madison-

So as most of you know, I have decided to go back to school to get my Masters of Business Administration aka MBA (which a lot of the time when you first say it to someone they hear "NBA" and get confused and think I am going back to be a basketball star, clearly they haven't seen any of my attempts to play sports).

Anywho, last week was my first week and I was a little nervous considering I haven't been to school in 5 years. But as Jude (mother-in-law) said, it is like riding a bike, once you learn you never forget. Well all I can say about that analogy is after not riding a bike for several years you definitely aren't as good at it. Example, I used to be able to ride my dad's old ten-speed (you know the ones with the tires that are like an inch wide) without using my hands, and man I was good at it, I could turn corners and everything. Well I used to be really good at school too!

So the first class is what I expected, mostly just an introduction to the course, not too bad. The next class we jumped right into the lesson material, and the last class I didn't even realize the professor had started his lecture until he was like 30 minutes into it (nice one Ames!).
So here I was thinking that the first week wouldn't be too strenuous, but I was entirely wrong. I am only taking 6 credits and I already have 2 papers to write, 100 pages to read, and a case analysis in which my analysis will have to be written out for class, even if I don't have to turn it in. Oh and did I mention that the case study I read was like 30 pages (single spaced). OH MY BRAIN HURTS ALREADY!

I guess I am going for graduate degree, I knew it wasn't going to be easy, but I was hoping the first week would at least ease me into it....OH NO!! maybe that was me being eased into it and it is just going to get worse!

Are we obsessed with our dog...only slightly

So instead of going on and on about how wonderful our dog is and posting 1,000 pictures of him. I will spare you the pictures only we care about and only show you the more entertaining ones.

Ozzy is a VERY good sleeper; he takes after his mommy in the following ways:

1) Is asleep within seconds of laying down.
2) Refuses to get up unless everybody else is up too or it is time for breakfast.
3) If he is allowed on the bed, he takes up the entire thing.
4) He can sleep anywhere and in any position.
5) Has crazy dreams (as evidenced by his little puppy barks, I am sure he is dreaming about bunnies, squirrels, and such)

One other funny thing he does that I do not do:
1) Snores really loud pretty much every night.

That being said, please enjoy these photos we have taken of him over the years in some of the more entertaining sleeping positions.

Hmmm, why blog?

So I did it. I have created a blog. I didn't think I ever would, at least not until I had anything to really show anyone (i.e. children), but I have come up with a list of reasons to blog and here they are.

1) I am out of my mind bored
2) Doesn't everyone want to see pictures of Ozzy?!?! (since that is all we basically have pictures of)
3) I am sure our family would like to know more of what we are up to (that is if I can keep this thing updated)
4) It might give us a good reason to take more pictures (other than of the dog)
5) Peer pressure (I am so weak!, everyone was doing it and so I have jumped off the proverbial bridge because my friends did. Good thing my friends are blogging and not smoking!)
6) Did I mention because I am bored.
7) I will use this as an outlet for my creativity (haha!)

Speaking of creativity, I don't know how to make my page look any "cooler", so if anybody wants to help me customize it would be much appreciated.
