Introducing Baby Hafe!!!

Now it has been quite a while since I have had time to post anything, I apologize to those of you who actually care enough about our relatively non-eventful life. Anywho, I have plenty that I would like to post, I just haven't made the time for it.


I got some good pictures from Jer's b-day like a month ago, but I have yet to post them...they are to come I promise.


Now to the subject of the post, don't get too excited...I am not pregnant. This is not a picture of an ultrasound.


So. I randomly came across a picture the other night. I got a cutesy little email from a friend and it had some pictures of babies with cute little sayings. So I was just casually reading through the email, not really remembering anything that I saw or read.....until....this little bugger came on the screen.






















And my jaw dropped, the world started spinning, I forgot what year it was, and I started talking gibberish...No not really, but I was shocked. I could not believe what I was seeing. If you do not see what I am talking about....let me explain.


Look at the pictures below I will point out some features that tie back to this picture:


















Lets start with top of the head and move down:

• Hair: Blonde and stick-em-up straight hair. Jer was a toe-head blonde as well, ummm, and his hair still sticks straight up, it takes a lot of product to tame that beast of a mop on his head.

• Hairline: The kid's got a big forehead, and thanks to my friend Shawna Rasmussen in the 6th grade who decided to bust out a ruler and measure my forehead, I found out that mine is like 3 and 1/2 inches, I think that classifies as a big forehead.

• Ears: Notice the angle of the ears (from Jer) and how big the ears are (those ginormous babies would come from my side of the family)

• Eyes: Beautiful blue, just like my hubbies

• Nose: Course it is just a baby nose, but that looks like it is going to be a button nose. Well, there isn't a point to be found on my nose. (and the nose on the kid is randomly tan and I have been known to get a little brown in the sun)

• Skin: Nice and pale, just like Jerame

• Face Shape: Nice and roundish, just like myself.

So....yeah. I am pretty sure my kids will look pretty close to this (but hopefully they get my skin, cause I am not gonna lie, being tan year round is pretty awesome!!)
