Here is my little 1 year old!

What's up with Zac:
- Excellent walker. He started up at 10.5 months and just got better. He can stand up on his own from a sitting position and hasn't crawled since. Now he is trying to run. Still not very good at this yet, he inevitably falls.
- Hates...no...loathes baby food. Will not eat it. He knows the containers it comes in and won't even try it if he sees the container. But also doesn't really like anything that we eat. What will he eat? most days he will eat crackers, yogurt, cookies, and broccoli cheddar soup. That is about it. He will sometimes eat what we are eating, but most of the time spits it out. Soooo frustrating. I would take him off of formula but he needs it for the nutrients Ritz crackers and Goldfish simply cannot provide.
- Loves his daddy. He is such a daddy's boy it is ridiculous. Of course sometimes you just need your mommy, but he will go to Jer before me most times. In fact, one morning he woke up particularly early, we were not ready to get up so we fed him a bottle in our bed and then I tried to cuddle him back to sleep, after a few minutes of trying to get comfy, he crawled over to Jer snuggled up and went to sleep.
- Still loves walks and baths.
- Tries desperately to kiss Ozzy...walks at him with his mouth open and ready to smooch
- Likes his schedule. Up at 7, nap at 9/10 ish, nap at 2/3 ish, bed by 8. You mess with this schedule, get ready for a grump. And grump does not even start to describe this kid when he is tired...he gets mad! (my kid *sheepish grin*)
- He is starting to get into everything. When I am getting ready for the day, he rummages through the bathroom. By the time I am done it looks like a hurricane came through. We have baby proofed a few of the kitchen cabinets and are hoping we don't need to do them all. So far, the few we got have slowed him down.
- He has 6 teeth...2 on the bottom, 4 on the top. The 2 central top teeth are in but are taking a very long time to fully grow in so he has a weird vampire-esque smile.
- He doesn't like to hold still for very long and spends most of the day walking around the house mumbling.
- Words so far: Mamama and babababa...if you consider those words.
- When he is tired, he will let you know. He comes up to you and whines a little and puts his head down on you. When he gives you this cue, all you need to do is lay him down in his crib....it is really that easy (love it!)
- He is just plain fun to have around. He is always making us laugh. He has sooo many expressions and is so active. There is rarely a dull moment.
