The New Addition, Zac

Okay, Ames will probably kill me for messing up her blog, but I was trying to help her out and let all of you know the scoop.  So, I apologize for erasing our header photo Ames.  I was trying to change it to the three of us.

Zac was born on Wednesday the 8th at 4:36pm.  This was after about 13 or 14 hours of labor, and 2 hours and 45 minutes of pushing.  This makes me tired just thinking about it again...and I really didn't do anything :)  Zac weighed 8 lbs and 5 oz and measured 18 inches long.

I'm glad to report that both mom and baby are doing great, and I wasn't cursed at or blamed for anything in the birthing process...thanks babe.  They will be released from the hospital Saturday morning.  I guess we'll see how Zac likes his older brother Ozzy.  We have visions of him and Ozzy (when they are older) sitting in time out in the bath tub (that's where Ozzy's time out is located).  Then Zac will turn to Ozzy and say, "Ozzy, this is all your fault!"

Zac seems to be a pretty happy baby.  He doesn't seem to fuss too much either.  I guess I like him and will keep him around.  This photo is right after he was born and they wiped him down and gave him back to Ames.

This photo was later that night when she finally decided to share him with me.

I'm sure Ames will tell you all more about the life of Baby Kratos, but I just wanted to make sure Bre didn't leave Utah to come to Texas to kill us for not updating the blog.

I love you guys, I mean seriously I do. We were at a family reunion this weekend and I was thinking about you guys the entire time. So Wednesday, that must mean she went into labor on her own? Thursday was the induction right? I can't wait to hear the details. Wooza 8lbs 5 oz that is a big boy, Amy where were you hiding him? :o) Ok Amy you are seriously my hero, I pushed for 2 hours and I was so tired, you worked hard to get him out and didn't give up, way to go! Pushing for that long is SO. MUCH. WORK. Now when you hear ladies say "I pushed for 15 minutes and then he was here" you are going to think, "wow, labor to you was more like a brisk 15 mintues, labor to me was like heavy LABOR" He is so darling, I love his hair, and wow those eyes, what a wide eyed little guy, I can't wait to see what he "looks" like when all the swelling goes down, they change so much in that first week, moving through that birth canal is not easy for them either. Oh I am just so happy for you guys. I so wish we lived closer, I would come over in my pjs, let you take a nap with Zac while I cleaned the toliets, made a few freezer meals and walked Ozzy. Love you guys!

I love his hair, I am guessing that is Amy's hair?, and that Jer was the blonde possibility. Steele's hair is so so blonde sometimes he still looks bald! I love the dark hair!

Good work Amy, Zac is darling! I'm wondering where you were hiding him, too. Could you breathe at all?? Good luck with the next installments, feedings, no sleep, holding all that cuteness!

He is sooo cute! Ethan came to look at the pics and couldn't stop staring at him and just kept saying "Awwwww". So glad all went well even though your labor was FOREVER! I love the picture of Ames holding him right after they wiped him down. He looks like he is just thinking "It's so good to be home.". Such a cutie! I'd say he is a keeper! Miss you guys!
