So what did we do in Cancun....absolutely nothing. Yep, that's right nothing and it was perfect. We are tired and we just wanted to relax. We slept everyday until we woke up, sat by the pool until we were weary of the sun, laid in bed and watched crappy movies (Beastmaster anyone?) on mexican television until we were hungry, went to dinner, and then went to bed. The weather was nice...high 70's...perfect for tanning (or reddening, which is what Jer does best).
And hey...why not one more...
- Both graduated from college...Jer twice!
- Lived in 6 different apartments
- I have travelled the world and have been to Sweden, England, Ireland, Belgium, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Brazil, Australia, The Netherlands, Denmark to name a few.
- Jer's became a kick-A dentist
- I have been lucky enough to be employed over the last 7 years and able to support us while Jer was becoming the above mentioned kick-A dentist.
- We have managed to own the best dog in the world for the last 6 years (and managed to keep him alive).
- I think the fact that we lived happily in New Jersey is an accomplishment in and of itself...that place it CRAZY! (and we still miss it from time to time).
Here it is...
I know right?! It looks big...and it kinda is. But hey your money goes a lot further in Texas. It is actually alot bigger than we need at the moment, but we didn't want to invest in something we will have to move out of in 5 years. We can grow into this house (we better get busy!). It is everything we ever wanted in a house, brand new (that's why you get an illustration) in a culdesac, nice and quiet neighborhood, close to Jer's work (about 10-15 minutes), lots of kids running around.
We are scheduled to close the 26th of April. I spent the last week playing games with the mortgage companies trying to get the best deal I could. It was stressful and annoying, but I think I got a pretty good deal.
And now on to baby updates, because that is what some people really care about.
Not too much of a change to report. I am about 24 weeks at this point. The coolest thing that is happening right now is feeling baby Kratos moving around. I started feeling him shortly before I went to Australia. They were not really strong movements, but yet I could feel them. While I was in Australia I could start feeling them a little bit more, so one day when he was moving around I rested my hand on my stomach to see if I could feel it on the outside. It took a little while, but I felt it...I think I audibly gasped. So when I got home from Australia, of course the first thing I wanted was for Jer to be able to feel it too. That again took a little bit, but he got to feel his kid kicking and has been able to feel it a few times now. He likes it, I think it helps to make it more real for him as well.
Oh and here is a belly pic...enjoy.
